WHAT TO DO WITH FAITH?

The last several days, we've spoken of faith, and a host of inspiring witnesses of faith. So what?

Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles. And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us, fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith.

- Hebrews 12:1,2 TNIV

What to do with this faith? The author of Hebrews is quick to answer. With an abundance of examples, others who have "done it," let's not just think about it, let's do it.
--Throw off hindrances--there are commitments and behaviors in our lives that keep us from growing as disciples. That's sin. Clean it up.
--Persevere--sure we get sidetracked, and are quick to be distracted. But we are grown ups, so grow up.
--Eyes on Jesus--see how it always comes back to Christ. Jesus is the center. Where was your focus yesterday? Was it honoring Christ?

Throw off, persevere, focus.
