UNDIVIDED

One of the challenges to discipleship in the 21st century is that we are pulled in so many worthy directions; we are divided.

Teach me your way, Lord, that I may rely on your faithfulness;
give me an undivided heart, that I may fear your name.
                                       ---Psalm 86:11 TNIV

Like us, David is pulled in many directions, yet he prays for an undivided heart. He knows he needs a center, a focus, or he'll be eaten alive by daily challenges.

David knew this truth, and then prayed accordingly. What about us? Do we know this truth? And if so, are we willing to pray for an undivided heart, and that being the case, are we willing to pursue an undivided heart and life?
