GOD THE REDEEMER

Paul reminds us that God is the redeemer, always putting broken things back together, and often that's you and me.
And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.
--Romans 8:28 TNIV
Romans 8:28 does NOT say, "all things are good!" What it says is that God is a redeemer. That God takes sometimes terribly bad things, and redeems them, resurrects good out of the worst. For example, cancer is not a good thing. But goodness can be resurrected out of hideous evil.
We serve, we worship, a Redeemer. You may be living through some hellish experience even now yourself. Turn your eyes to Jesus, and ask the Redeemer God to work things for the good, that your eyes can see redemption at work to bring about good.
