CONDEMNING DOUBTS?

Maybe you've heard about God's forgiveness, but sometimes you doubt inside your heart, "I'm not really sure God could forgive me." In other words, you might self-condemn.
Who will bring any charge against those whom God has chosen? It is God who justifies. Who then can condemn? No one. Christ Jesus who died...is also interceding for us.
--Romans 8:33,34 TNIV
Self-condemnation, doubts about our status with God, this is to "bring a charge" against oneself. Paul tells us, no one is in a position to bring charges against someone God has chosen, not even the self! Jesus is not condemning us, in fact, he put us right with the Father, and even now intercedes in our behalf.
There is no place, no room, for self-condemnation. If Christ does not condemn us, who do we think we are to self-condemn? So, enjoy the good news today, and serve Jesus Christ in freedom and joy.
