DENIAL

Denial is when the world we see, the world we believe in, is not the world in reality.
But Peter emphatically. "Even if I have to die with you, I will never disown you." And all the others said the same.

Judas is not the only "bad guy." All the disciples promise to commit to Christ no matter what, Peter most emphatically. Yet to a person, they break their promise at the first challenge, the first risk. You see, their promises, their commitment was largely in denial of the way the world really is.
Now what of us? Rather than worry about denial, like Peter having broken the promise, let us be quick to accept God's grace, and re-commit to follow. I doubt that Peter didn't need that same grace again and again, but he persevered. Let us do the same with new resolve, new determination.
