FAITH SHIFT Vol 10 No 5

February 15, 2011

Dear Friend,

Question:  One what basis do you expect a promise to be kept?

Answer:  On the basis of the integrity, ability and trustworthiness of the promise maker.

Since our Lord is the God who does what he says he will do, what would these promises lead you to expect?

“I lift up my eyes to the hills— from where will my help come?
My help comes from the Lord, who made heaven and earth.”
Psalm 121:1-2*

“The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases, his mercies never
come to an end; they are new every morning; great is your
faithfulness.” Lamentations 3:22-23

“In my Father’s house there are many dwelling places. If it were
not so, would I have told you that I go to prepare a place for you?”
John 14:2

“I am confident of this, that the one who began a good work
among you will bring it to completion by the day of Jesus Christ.”
Philippians 1:6

Make a faith-shift today trusting in the Lord who loves you to come through for you!

“For in him [Jesus] every one of God’s promises is a ‘yes.’” II Corinthians 1:20

“Expect great things from God, attempt great things for God.”  William Carey
