Enjoy Life, Enjoy God

Christians speak often of the will of God: we want to know it; sometimes we want to do it, but, what of God? What about God doing God's will?

Paul, an apostle of Christ Jesus by the will of God, in keeping with the promise of life that is in Christ Jesus.
                                                            - 2 Timothy 1:1 TNIV

Paul starts his second letter to his student, Timothy, reminding us all that what Paul is doing is "by the will of God." In other words, Paul's life work is not so much what he signed up for, it was not necessarily what he was trained for, it was not, "what I've always wanted to do." It was what God willed for Paul. And Paul did it.

Today you have something to do; yet whatever it is, God wants you to do it as a Christ-centered person. The work you give your employer, your employees, the passion you invest in your household and community: God wills for you to serve him, by your serving them, and your God this very day, this very moment. It's God's will for you.
