OH YEAH - THAT'S RIGHT

Every now and then something comes back to our mind, something we've forgotten, and we might say with some enthusiasm, "Oh yeah, that's right, I forgot about that."

O give thanks to the Lord, he is good; for his steadfast love endures forever. Let the redeemed of the Lord say so, those he redeemed from trouble and gathered in from the lands...
- Psalm 107:1-3 NRS

Psalm 107 is one of those prayers where we think back and ponder how over and over again God has been faithful. We recall case by case, situation by situation God's faithfulness to us. You might read this psalm, and in doing so, learn a new discipline. As we are intentional in remembering God's faithful acts guess what happens? First of all, we begin to remember more and more occasions of God's faithfulness AND we are moved to give thanks.

So read Psalm 107 and maybe make a list in a notebook or sheet of paper how God has been faithful to you and witness the list growing day by day.
