Enjoy Life, Enjoy God

The phrase, "Thank God," carries many different nuances and meanings. I want us to emphasize a particular one.

I thank my God every time I remember you. In all my prayers for all of you, I always pray with joy... - Philippians 1:3,4 TNIV

I don't know about you, but Paul challenges me with this witness. "I thank my God every time I remember you." I confess to you ashamedly, I don't necessarily thank God when some of you come to mind. Sorry! But Paul says he says, "Thank God!" And he means it.

How might our relationships enrich, change, bless us, if we focused on thanking God for each of us, as opposed to...well as opposed to other thoughts? That's my commitment to you, based upon these words from Paul and the Holy Spirit to you and me. "Thank God, indeed."
