ELEVEN COMMANDMENTS

Most of us are familiar with the term "the Ten Commandments." What if I were to tell you that there are actually eleven commandments?

"A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. By this all men will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another."

"I give you a new commandment." There it is, #11: "Love one another." The watching world will know we are Christians not by our beliefs, our doctrine, our devotion (not that these are unimportant), but by how we love one another. Yet Christians today are too often famous for for in-squabbling, in-house arguments as we are for many other priorities.

How would our witness and effectiveness change if the watching world was amazed at how we love one another?
