WHO IS JESUS?

It's a constant question that not only the Bible asks in the gospels, but even the world then and now asks. The answers are many, some right on target, many miss the mark. Yet the question remains.

He answered, "I do not know whether he is a sinner. One thing I do know, that though I was blind, now I see." They said to him, "What did he do to you? How did he open your eyes?" He answered them, "I have told you already, and you would not listen. Why do you want to hear it again? Do you also want to become his disciples?"

A second time the church leaders interrogate the man born blind who now could see. "Who is Jesus?" But the graced seeing person speaks a truth that the increasingly blind church leaders refuse to hear: "I do not know who or how. But now I see. Surely he must come from God!"

The question: Who is Jesus? is an important one. Yet another is at least as important: Will I follow him? The man born blind was not too sure who Jesus is, but he was completely certain he will follow him for the rest of his life. I write more than two hundred fifty Enjoy Life, Enjoy God notes every year to you and others that we might be encouraged to follow him as well...today, tomorrow.
