BENEDICTION

"Benediction": bene=good, diction=saying. A good saying. But it's so much more.

Now may the God of peace, who through the blood of the eternal covenant brought back from the dead our Lord Jesus, that great Shepherd of the sheep, equip you with everything good for doing his will, and may he work in us what is pleasing to him, through Jesus Christ, to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen.

More than a good saying! A prayer. Among other things:
1. May we be equipped with the ability to do God's will.
2. May God use us to please him, rather than merely please ourselves.
This benediction is something much more than a nice sentiment; it's that our lives be substantive and faithful.

What if this is our prayer today, maybe tomorrow too? A benediction as a daily prayer!
