MATRICULATE

To matriculate is to become a student, to sign up and enter a school.

"Truly I tell you, anyone who will not receive the kingdom of God like a little child will never enter it.""

Some people come to Jesus and want to follow him, want to matriculate in the kingdom of God. What do you think they thought his response would be? "Be good, be righteous, sign this statement of beliefs and affirmations, give up your lives of sin--what?"

We are to become like children, the way children come to God. How do we need to change to be like children? It is a key to entrance into the kingdom. Jesus said so.
