THE INVITATION

When we receive a formal invitation etiquette has taught us to respond appropriately.
Then he sent some more servants and said, "Tell those who have been invited that I have prepared my dinner: My oxen and fattened cattle have been butchered, and everything is ready. Come to the wedding banquet .

Jesus speaks of God's invitation, yes to the Jewish people but to all the world, including you and me. And he tells the story of a wedding banquet where the invitation is given, but many ignore it. That's not just rude, it carries consequence.
How the world, how we respond to the invitation of God to follow him...it makes all the difference, eternal difference!
