Do you suffer from ADD or ADHD, or short attention span? Beware.

See to it, brothers and sisters, that none of you has a sinful, unbelieving heart that turns away from the living God. But encourage one another daily, as long as it is called "today," so that none of you may be hardened by sin's deceitfulness.

Daily. Discipleship is about daily. Daily attention to the disciplines of discipleship. Truth is much in our world and lifestyles pull us away from "daily," instead flitting from one thing to another, and then to a third and beyond. We expect being a Christian to follow our short-attention-span lifestyle. But no. And we do it in community with others over the long haul: encourage one another daily.

Christ's call pulls us away from our short attention spans, and calls us to daily.
