Today in our culture of fair play and tolerance, it makes many of us uncomfortable when terms of exclusivity are used as in there is no other god.

Do not fear, or be afraid; have I not told you from of old and declared it? You are my witnesses. Is there any god besides me? There is no other rock; I know not one.
- Isaiah 44:8 NRS

If the making of a god is merely a human creation, our god or any other god, then it does make logical sense and freewill sense, whatever is cool with you. But Christians believe that this God we worship, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Creator, is not our creation but this God is revealed to us, to the world. Not our creation, but revealed. If we are wrong, we're deceived and we've offended other religious people. If we are correct, then we merely reflect God's self-revelation.

"There is no other rock, I know not one." That is believed to be God's self-revelation not human arrogance and exclusivity. "The Lord is one..." Worship the Lord with all our heart.
