A NEW REIGN

Isaiah lived in a bleak day for the people of God. Yet he saw a real day coming, and a new reign.

The people walking in darkness have seen a great light...
For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.

Times may have been bleak during Isaiah's day, yet he saw a new king coming. He did not know his name, but we do. His name is Jesus, the Wonderful Counselor, Prince of Peace of whom Isaiah spoke.

I'm not sure if today is bleak or not, but I'm sure the new reign of the Lord Jesus Christ has yet to come to fulfillment in ultimate kingdom living. Yet the day comes; it surely comes.
