WAKE UP

Sometimes we get so immersed in our daily grind that we miss what's going on, or struggle to connect what we're doing with our faith in Christ.

And do this, understanding the present time. The hour has already come for you to wake up from your slumber, because our salvation is nearer now than when we first believed.
Romans 13:11 TNIV

 Rather than complaining and fretting over the disturbing events in the world, or using such times as an excuse for self-indulgence, wake up! Paul tells us this is an opportunity to stand strong in Christ. Hand-wringing and revelry accomplish zilch.

Instead we have the opportunity to stand strong in Christ. Wake up in Christ--this is what it is going to take.
