We are such a "doing" people. No surprise when we find ourselves as the center of attention, thinking that we are responsible for everything, even our happiness and joy.

 You turned my wailing into dancing; you removed my sackcloth and clothed me with joy, that my heart may sing your praises and not be silent, Lord my God, I will praise you, forever.
-Psalm 30:11,12 TNIV

You! The focus of the Psalmist is not "I" or "me" but thee, YOU! Not only has God accomplished such in the past, but the psalmist looks forward to his grief to be transformed to joy in the future.

How might our lives be different if we turned from the burden of I and me, unto YOU? We have convinced ourselves that we are the source of our happiness and joy. But not so. Instead it's YOU.
